L'Ecole de Ballet Instructors
Patricia
"Patti" Mattison
is L'Ecole de Ballet's founder and Artistic Director. Patti has been
dancing since the tender age of three till present. She has been an
instructor of ballet for the past 48 years opening her very first L'Ecole de
Ballet in 1968. Patti came to Juneau in 1992 and opened the present
L'Ecole de Ballet in 1993. The ballet that she has taught is Checcette and
RAD ballet styles. Patti was a charter member of the Arizona dance guild
during which she adjudicate at RAD competitions.
Dianna
Roberts Khan
Dianna attended a boarding school in Tacoma, WA and took lessons from Jan Collum School of Ballet for many years. In high school she traveled in Europe and attended a language immersion school in France for a summer. After many years away from ballet, she joined L'Ecole three years ago.
Grace Augustin
Rebecca Salsman
has been with L'Ecole de
Ballet for over eight years and an instructor for almost four years. Aside
from ballet she enjoys fishing, hiking, writing, and teaching Sunday school.
Ballet is Rebecca's passion and she believes the words of Albert Einstein who
said, "Dancers ARE the athletes of God."
