About L'Ecole de Ballet
Thank-you for your interest in L'Ecole de Ballet!
L'Ecole de Ballet was founded in 1993 by Artistic Director Patricia Mattison.
The purpose of our ballet school is to educate children and adults in the art of
dance through classes and performances--to build self esteem, a love of dance,
and self confidence. Dance
promotes understanding and awareness of the importance of the performing arts in
our community. We provide community services through student grants and
scholarships, and reduced price tickets for qualifying community agencies.
Thank you for visiting our site. We are proud to have originated the production of "The Nutcracker Ballet" in Juneau, and to showcase this and other full length ballet performances featuring local dance students in all roles. Our company repertoire also includes "Appalachian Spring", "La Boutique Fantastique", and original productions. We are currently preparing a new production for 2008. Thank you for supporting our company!
L'Ecole de Ballet is non-profit institution. Scholarships and grants are available as a public service.
